Q: How do you get to know our style?
A: Great question. It all starts with our signature Life & Style session. This is a deep-dive conversation where we get to know your family, routines, aesthetic preferences, and what "home" truly means to you. We ask about everything from how you entertain to how you unwind. It helps us design spaces that don’t just look amazing, but feel like you.
Q: Do you offer 2-3 options for each furniture piece?
A: Nope. That’s not how great design works. If we gave you 3 options for every chair, table, and lamp, we’d basically be asking you to design the room—and that defeats the purpose of hiring us. Each item in your design is chosen intentionally based on the overall concept. The coffee table affects the side table. The rug affects the art. We present one cohesive design that we believe is the best solution, and we walk you through the "why" behind every piece.
Q: Do you make money on the furniture you sell?
A: We do. The truth is, it’s nearly impossible to sustain a design business on design fees alone. You’re going to buy furniture no matter what—we simply ask that you buy it through us. This supports our studio, allows us to offer concierge-level service, and helps everything flow seamlessly from design to installation.
Q: How do you determine the pricing of furnishings?
A: We price pieces fairly and aim to be below retail whenever possible. Our goal isn’t to overcharge—it’s to offer beautiful, high-quality pieces while maintaining a sustainable business. We always have your best interest at heart.
Q: Do you ship furnishings directly to our home?
A: Nope, and trust us—you don't want that headache. We ship everything to a trusted receiving warehouse. They unbox, inspect for damage, send us photos, and rewrap each item carefully. When everything is in, we schedule a white glove delivery and install it all at once so your home comes together beautifully (and stress-free).
Q: Do you show us each piece one at a time or all at once?
A: Definitely all at once. One-off pieces don’t tell the full story. Many clients come to us because they can’t visualize the big picture. So we pull it all together and present it as a complete vision. We want you to focus less on each item and more on the finished space. And don’t worry—we explain the reasoning behind every choice so you can see how it all works together.
Q: Do you have a minimum number of rooms required for a furnishings project?
A: Not necessarily. What we do have is a minimum furnishings expenditure of $75K and a minimum design fee starting at $13K. So if you're furnishing just one room but plan to invest at that level, we’re all in.
Q: Can you work with a few pieces we already own?
A: Absolutely—as long as they work with the overall design vision. We love incorporating special items that mean something to you. We'll evaluate this on a case-by-case basis, and the minimums still apply.
